  • A full detail starts at a median $250 for a sedan (182 shops).
  • Shops that print both prices charge a median 25% more to full-detail a large SUV, truck or van than a sedan (164 shops).
  • Only 10 of 347 detailers post a travel fee or minimum charge on their website.

Pressure washing

  • A house wash starts at a median $250 (95 companies).
  • Driveway cleaning starts at a median $150 nationally (75 companies) and in every US region.
  • Only 25 of 137 companies (18%) post a job minimum; among them the median is $200.

Gutter cleaning

  • A one-story home starts at a median $149 (59 businesses).
  • Independent companies charge a median $225 for a two-story home (27 companies), a median 36% ($50) more than their own one-story price (27).
  • Only 22 of 118 independent companies (19%) publish a job minimum; the median minimum is $195 (23 businesses).

Christmas light installation

  • Roofline lighting runs a median $7.25 per foot for a first-year install with the lights supplied (17 installers).
  • Full-service packages start at a median $750 (102 installers).
  • Only 36 of 150 seasonal installers (24%) publish a job minimum; among them the median is $800.
